A foreign individual generally becomes domiciled for Peruvian tax after more than 183 days within 12 months, with the change taking effect in the following tax year. Peruvian-source work can be taxable earlier. Canadian citizens generally continue filing on worldwide income; the foreign earned income exclusion or foreign tax credit may help only when their separate conditions are met and the required US return is filed.
